Story

How it started: The origins of the company Integrated Optics can be considered the beginning of 2012, when the founders Evaldas Pabrėža and Jonas Jonuška met in the premises of Sunrise Tech Park and discussed new concepts of laser production. This is where the determination to create the world's most compact lasers, which could be used from life sciences to material processing, was born. Company had been developing at the Sunrise Tech Park until it created the first prototype and attracted investment from business angels. The company later established the first laboratory in Šiaurės miestelis.

How is it going: Currently (2023) the company exports >98% of its production and the main export market is Germany (>60%). The company's lasers are used in a variety of analytical applications, from cancer cell research, diamond grading, to quantum cryptography and space applications. Throughout its existence, the company maintains close ties with the Sunrise Tech Park.
