How it started & how it is going: The team founded the company just over seven years ago with a vision to commercialize cutting-edge microfluidic technologies for research applications. It is now successfully moving in that direction, and the company has consistently grown over the years (employee, product, revenue and funding verticals).
For the past three years, Droplet Genomics has focused specifically on capsule technology (developed in cooperation with Vilnius University and company employees). This innovation addresses the limitations of existing microfluidic technologies and enables a new type of high-throughput analytical experiments.
